jezzaboy
Naw. Better off with either the passive US jazz or the Geddy. Jez
fede162162
Hi, my master had this bass as main bass, and I could play it several times. I preferred it to the standard US jazz, but it's not unlikely you could feel the opposite. The deluxe one is more modernish than the standard US, therefore it dependes on your tastes. However, Fender deluxe looks...deluxe if compared with the standard. Better woods, better playability, better finish.
engage757
Fender preamps are not very nice brother. They tend to be noisy. I would try to find an American Standard Jazz with the S-1 switching sytem if I were you. These were made pre- 2007 and the s-1 really fattens up fingerstyle tone.
