Clarky
Unfortunately has Schaller (I think) bridge and EMG pickups. Shame, for a second I thought it was what I had been after .... warwickhunt
I see that he's letting the pictures do the talking! <edit> The pups are the significantly cheaper EMG 'selects'... iirc they are also passive. basshead56
I like it, shame its not 100 per cent original, but still a lovely bass
doctorbass
Doesn't look a bad bass, but way overpriced.

Me like! Re: overpriced, given it would cost £500 to replace bridge and p/u's with 70-s originals I agree
Re. overpriced - the Schaller bridge is not a direct replacement for the original Fender as the screw holes don't match up, so the body would most definitely have additional holes in it. tauzero
Of course, if you were actually buying it to play it, the Schaller bridge would be a plus point, and then the only problem would be that it's overpriced because you can get much better basses than 70s Jazzes for less than 2k...
Maybe, maybe not... but not many that'll be as much help to oneself in one's dotage. :-) If we're going to talk about money, you could look at it as this... Spend a little less now and have a few more quid in your pocket, or spend a little more and most likely reap a shedload further on down the line. Whatever works best for ya, eh?
