Cat Burrito
In recent months we've had talk of Rick Danko, Randy Meisner (courtesy of me that one) and a few other legends of 70s country rock. I'd like to throw Mr. Skip Battin into the equation. Forget the classic line up of the Byrds (& I love Chris Hillman), I think the band was really cooking during their "Hairy Byrds" era with Clarence White. Floating ladies aside here they are in action I've just picked up the Sierra Records release of his unreleased 1973 forgotten classic "Topanga Skyline" which is awesome enough for my wife to come running downstairs demanding to know who it was so she could burn a copy onto her Ipod! Interestingly he has Chris Etheridge playing bass on the album and doing a damn fine job as I've come to expect.
