alhbass
Yes mate, it does do full on distortion/fuzz as well as more restrained SVT drive. I find it a very useful, flexible piece of kit - it's the only pedal I always use. Al
Low End Bee
As per above. I have mine on all the time. Goes from a warm valvey type sound to extreme distorted filth.
cm261
Yep, mine's on 95% of the time, if not more. It won't do fuzz however, it's a preamp/DI/overdrive/EQ pedal, not a fuzz.
redzombie
I didn't think either my programmable Sansamp BDDI or the regular one done distortion or fuzz. Just mild to heavy overdrive (and the heavier drive past 2 o'clock sounded pants IMO, horse for courses etc). The VT Bass on the other hand will just about get you into distortion with the drive cranked. Nothing crazy though.
M4L666
People tend to do different gain stages with the programmable ones, which tends to go one clean, one mild OD and one really dirty OD. These are also the people with 7 other gain pedals though... You can get a pretty filthy drive from them, but for actual distortion/fuzz I'd get a distortion/fuzz. Some blendable fuzzes just sound like ODs though- watch out for that.
