colinbow Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 Hi I purchased Als Lemonbacker last year when I started taking lessons. The bass has had some changes made by my tutor who is also a luthier. I do not have a camera but if you go to the build section you can see all the photos put on by Al. I want anyone interested to come and play the guitar as it has a unique sound and I do not feel competent enough to answer technical questions, So if you do not want to spend £2000 on a new Rickenbacker then you may be interested in this one off for £400 which is what I paid Al for same. However iirc i think al was a little unsure about the action and finish on the bass, sadly it was a little too far away for me to come and try out first! Stunning bass from the pics, and id imagine it to be every bit as good as the madly overpriced bass it replicates
