casapete
'Equalized direct interface' - that's a DI box to you and me! The difference with this one however is that it connects between your amplifier's speaker jack output and your speaker cabinet jack input. Handy for older amps that don't have an XLR output. Its a sturdy metal box with 3 connections on the top - 'from amplifier' input jack, 'to speaker' output jack and an XLR balanced output for sending signal to amixer/recording device etc. Also features a 'timbre' adjust trim pot on the side,(but I've never needed to use this!) I've had this for over 10 years, during which time its been used when I had an older Peavey amp with no DI output facility. Am now using an amp with one built in, hence no need for this now. It's in okay condition, good working order, and is passive - i.e. no need for batteries! Looking for £15 plus postage (probably a fiver mainland UK), or collection from East Yorkshire near Hull Thanks for looking. NOW SOLD-THANKS.
