basshead56
Hey guys. Some friends want to get a loop station of some kind for recording both vocal and instrumnet phrases live. I don´t know what to recommend. One mentioned a boss gt10 but I don´t know if you can run a mic to it. Is what they want more of a sampler than a loop station? What do you guys think? zero9
Digitech Jamman has instrument input and mic input with level control, although you can't use condenser mikes as it doesn't have phantom power. Sampling is only limited to the size of memory card (compactflash). I'm not sure they're made anymore, so you'll probably need to find one secondhand. fxpedal.co.uk
The Jamman is still in production. Two new Jamman models have been announced at Namm - a high end stereo looper and a simpler compact model - and both these will run alongside the existing Jamman. The Line 6 JM4 and the Boss RC20XL also have mic inputs.
