Bassline notes help please! Spacemen 3 "Hypnotized"

Hi all -

new to playing bass, and am just trying to learn the bassline tab to this song :

Can anyone tell me, it's a simple riff that is basically in D then G, but I'm not 100% sure on the alternating notes in the pattern.


Anyone know if those bass notes are D/D/B/D/D/B/D/B/D, G/G/E/G/G/E/G/E/G ..? Or is it D/C, G/F ....? Thanks!!

It's a bit hard to hear really, but he doesn't seem to be playing the same thing consistently all the way through anyway. Personally I thought D/A, G/E sounded ok but if you really want to nail what he's playing, try downloading a copy of Best Practice and loop the bits where the bass is a bit more clear. And don't forget the runs up from the roots.
