Due to a recent acquisition I'm going to be selling my Kern.

These preamps are not made anymore and are quite hard to find. Harder still is finding one that works on 240V. I had mine professionally converted to European voltage (mine does not use an external transformer -- it is the last version they produced). It is extremely solid, and is well-known for its ability to go from fat and/or overdriven to crisp and clear. The tonal balance control is basically the only control you need once you're happy with the B/M/T settings. It has a Jensen transformer which makes it very good for recording.

Some information is available here and here.

A Bass Player review is available here.

And reviews from users here.

£600 plus actual shipping costs, or pickup from London SW1.

Please pm me with any questions.
Is the DI out pre or post EQ? Is there a switch? I can't really make it out from the pics in the link
Post eq, as far as I can see. I don't think there's a switch.

cheers,
