playitagainken
I love the sound of the upright bass for jazz, and so not surprisingly when I heard the Godin A5 I fell in love with it. But going from a fretted 4-string to a fretless 5-string was probably too much (I am still a beginner) and anyway I have decided to learn to play an upright bass - trouble is I need some cash to get one! So have decided reluctantly to sell my A5. This Godin is in MINT condition, complete with Godin gig-bag, and it has the synth access. It has hardly been played at all, as I went back to my 4-string. Never gigged and has the original flatwounds. It is silky smooth to play and has a tone to die for. I am looking for £875 to sell. I think that's fair as the present price for a new one at DV247.com for example is £1,149.00. I will also consider a trade for an upright bass set up for jazz. You are welcome to come and inspect it before you buy of course. I live in Wimbledon South West London. Some photos are attached. Any questions just get in touch. THIS BASS IS NOW SOLD - THANK YOU! franzbassist
Awesome basses. If you want that lovely fretlessacousticupright tone these nail it. I had one and only sold it to get my Veillette.
