Musicman20
+1 Si

I've just bought one of these (Got PMT in Leeds down to approx £420 with 3 year warranty) terror heads, used it for fist time at gig/practice with drummer volume tonight. I eventually got the tone controls right (Treb 2, mid 7, bass 5 assuming 12 to be straight up position). Its pretty good, but too light, as it fell (vibrated) off the top of the cab onto the floor, bending the jack plug as it landed. Unbelievably, I didnt notice for 30 secs or so, as it kept working fine, so build quality must be ok!!! Not sure how to stop this happening again, any ideas?
Man, that's nuts! I think the shuttles are too light personally, but that's crazy that it fell off. Hmm, it must be really loud! Amp on floor, not on cab?! Bassman Rich
Yeah, I thought it pretty nuts its that light, so its probably going on a vintage 1983 Ansells mild beer towel, see if that helps. Ps Thaks for that incisive comment, happy jack. The amp doesnt have a black knob marked master, what black knob were you lookin at?
Le Chat Noir
I have also noticed mine vibrates around on top of cabs... probably best to either put it on the floor or carry a grippy rubber strip to slip under the head! I suggest some of that stuff your can buy at B&Q etc that is designed to hold carpets in place
Low End Bee
I gaffa mine to the handles on the side of the TC cab.

algmusic
nice one. I like it. Is it a 3 eq SR4? I am after on e of these amps, but it is interesting to note how close the sansamp can get to these tones - the BDDi into my Littlemark 2, on 50/50 blend is mighty close. Thanks for taking the time to do this.
I'd have to disagree. I love the sansamp and I had LMK2, you do get a nice sound, but the TB tube sound is far better, it's more natural. I'd never sell my sanamp though. I still use it in the studio as another amp sound and when I use other peoples or hired gear... But the sanamp does have more felxiblity in control, but I like a general tone, then I go with that personally.. Top Rate vid.. Much like has been said, shame the big companies don't do this, very easy to get an idea of the bass and nice playing They should use this for orange and scrap this one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rjar21N8-iQ...feature=related
