My bass is shown on Marleaux' website in the gallerie. Lovely & very sweet bass. SOLD !!!! 3/ Japanese made candy apple red FENDER Jazz bass with a original '74 red tortoise pick guard. This bass is one of the few build with a shiny epoxy fingerboard (!) (like the Jaco signature or buzz pedulla's). If you want a huge warm Jaco-like sound, than this IS the one. SOLD !!!! mcgraham Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 I've played a Consat fretless in the same configuration. Belonged to Bassjamm. Really thick defined tone, quite dark (which I liked!), although I didn't fiddle with the preamp. Top quality basses these.
