Bassman 100
Would it be ok to add a 4 Ohm Cab to a MarkBass MiniMark? The MarkBass Combo says 8 Ohm min' - I am thinking that the 4 Ohm is greater than 8 Ohm - but just checking in case. Would this type of pairing harm the extension cab or amp in the long term? If it says '8 ohms minimum', you can't do it and could damage your amp.
chris_b
The Mini Mark is an 8 ohm combo so you can add an 8 ohm cab. You will blow the fuses if you add 4 ohm cab as you will be presenting your amp with 2.6 ohms! Edited January 21, 2010 by chris_b
