Got home last night and went through my numerous sets of strings to find that I have a set of these already so, if you don't mind I will indeed give them a miss. Don't think they're as bad as you say to be honest - it's always gonna be a balance between playing style, instrument, amplification and strings (I certainly preferred them to the Rotosound flats I also tried).
