It's a real beauty, these '09 Fenders have got great build quality, will be gigging it on saturday & sunday, so am looking forward to it. Si[/quote] Good choice, I was looking at this, but I think im going to go for another 4 and leave the 5's to a new Classic Series Ray. But I have a massive soft spot for Fender Jazzes, so this was a no-brainer! I think I beat another Basschatter to it though.....so if they're reading this......sorry! Just ordered a White bodied one to replace the Sunburst from Guitar Works in Reading......last one Fender had. Hope you enjoy it.........its a great bass. I'm really happy with the bass so far, just some bedroom playing etc, have a gig tonight and tomorrow though, so will be taking it out with the 4. Saturday wasn't amazing, the action was too low and pickups too high, I wasn't disappointed as I know it's quite often the way, the first gig is for tweeking the setup. So tweeked it sunday, only subtle changes obviously, raised the action a pinch, bought the pickups down. Now it plays beautiful and really sings!
