Neck thru, ebony board, piezo pickup makes it the most versatile bass I've played. Excellent condition apart from one or two pock marks on the laminate on the back of the bass (bottom horn in photo) £900 + P&P, although I'd prefer to meet at a train station or deliver (within reasonable distance) for peace of mind. Based in Swindon Comes with Yamaha hardcase - used but good quality Cheers EDIT: Added a few sounds clips, one with a slightly muted bass and the other is slap - 1st on the neck pickup then both pickups. Pete Academy Posted January 24, 2010 Posted January 24, 2010 I went to a Yamaha trade show some years back, when this bass came out. Blew me away. The guy who took over from Stuart Zender in Jamiroquai endorsed this bass for a while. This is an absolute steal IMO.

I'll try and get some sound clips up tomorrow

gilmour Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 I love these basses, and at that price this is a bargain, if I hadn't just put a deposit down on an Iceni I'd have it in a shot. For the mean time I'll have to live with the BO version

I just need to lower the action a bit for my taste. A very pleasant transaction. This guy is a serious person and kept his part of the deal perfectly. A++++++++++ feedback for him. (will be left in the proper section) Thanks for everything Kiron! I'm now a happier bass player cause i finally got the bass i always dreamt with since my first bass player years. I still can't believe nobody picked this one up and left it sitting here for almost two months till i got my hands on it. Very cheap for a wonderful bass!
