I hope whoever's bid on this understands it's not a Fender! :)
Very strange looking bass labelled "bruno" conqueror. I think this has to be Japanese, doesn't it?

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/60s-Bruno-semi-acous...=item4cf74eb151

Has a strange appeal. Probably means a trip to Specsavers is in the offing :-)
And here it is again, flip flip tastic!

If bassmeg is still looking, this Westbury Track 2 bass is less overpriced than others. With the original hard case, £200 starting bid might be OK if you got it for that. Jon knows prices better, but for what it's worth I'll say that I think £200 would be an OK price but not a bargain. Also note Jon's comments that the bridges on these can be a bit dodgy.

£310 including p&p for a Columbus. Each to their own I suppose.
This is the worst deal I've seen for quite some time... Buyer apparently can't read carefully. Ugly, worn piece of plywood sh!t for the price of nice bass? The world's doomed!
I thought that there have been some good deals on ebay recently, such as the Japanese Squier p-bass. But, as you say, the Columbus is an awful deal. I wonder if the buyer will continue thinking that it's a Fender, and will try to sell it as a real Fendrr some day?

I think you'r right.

I've just sold a lovely Fender Japan '75 Jazz for about £100 more!

Some stuff is a bargain but other time you just wonder what someone was thinking. :)

Wish they'd buy something off me!! :)

Quite like the look of this Westone Spectrum ST bass that has just been listed. Looks good in white with a black headstock. I reckon it will go for next to nothing.

Collection only in Royston. Is that short for "Royston Vasey"?

Yes, although it's a shame he calls it "The early 90's model" when they stopped being made in '87.
A typo perhaps?

"1960's at least" as in it could be earlier?
