Knobs.
Oops. Didn't see the pickup selector one in the listing photo - a bit dark on my monitor.

Don't suppose you know of a source for correct pattern knobs? I'd be up for one over a half a dozen (or better 5 + 2 selectors).

Grenn precision copy. Not heard of Grenn before. Wonder what's lurking under that ash tray?

Nope. Used to be able to get bits from a few guys in Japan, but their supplies have dried up. Getting difficult to get genuine bits for older (80s and before) Jap instruments. Now in the habit of buying to cannibalise.

Bit of 70s kitsch with no reserve: Aria Diamond Semi-Acoustic

I went for £135 so yet another 'collection only' bargain.

Would have gone for a lot more if they had offered sending it by courier.

Wish this Greco were in the UK - gorgeous!

Westone Thunder Jet on eBay - probably go for a song as it is collection only from Liverpool. Makes a great starter bass for pimping - the neck is superb and it is lightweight, too. I have a P-retro and Seymour Duncan SPB-3 in mine and it is a monster. And of course satin black with black hardware is so cool...

I don't see why that should be a problem? The seller is offering shipping to the UK and compared with the price of other Greco GOB basses on Digimart it's a steal!

Dunno if jap, but has those tuners as per some jap stuff. Mostly amused due to reading 'Hondo' as 'Mondo'

Aria Pro II fretless. I've seen these come up before and sell for about this amount. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Aria-Pro-II-fretless-Bass-made-in-Japan-/400549153052?pt=UK_Musical_Instruments_Guitars_CV&hash=item5d4297091c

I'm not sure about these two. I think the ironic use of 'Jap Crap' in the title of this thread may not be quite so ironic applied to these two. But at least they're cheap and perhaps a collector would want them.

Korean, not Japanese, as far as I've been able to check. And it seems it might have a plywood body. But, I think this Washburn with a £10 starting price is a bit more interesting than the standard ebay bass listing. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/WASHBURN-B2-BASS-GUITAR-/121164416392?pt=UK_Musical_Instruments_Guitars_CV&hash=item1c35f64588
