BigRedX
Just spotted this too....
Pity someone has replaced the original and very elegant machine heads with clunky Fender-style ones that don't fit properly! Edit: And I doubt that they will help with the overall balance of the bass... Edited November 26, 2013 by BigRedX
Bassassin
Consider punt made then in that case! Just spotted this too....
B20 Stage Series - had one of them back in the 80s - beautifully made but neck-dive from hell! Still wish I'd never sold it, though... Very best of luck with the Vulture then, hope you get it for £150! BigRedX - three of those tuners are original - early ones of these & other MIJ Washburns hd these tuners (AFAIK the ones assumed to be made by Yamaki) and later Matsumoku builds had very nice Schaller M4S clones. Norm
Had a bright blue B20 back in the 80's. Neck dive was always an issue but mitigated by the fact I used to wear it so low it didnt have far to fall!

turnupthebase
Seller says it has a laminate body and its 20 frets... possibly looks like a midscale. He says thre humbuckers pack a wallop and its a late 70s model... not bad for £132 me thinks!
turnupthebase
The elctra/ibanezmodels have gold hardware and 22 frets but this has 20 and hardware is chrome... blank head with just two arrows but looks identical... laminate body..... any guesses peeps? Paul S
Westone Thunder Jet just listed http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/321262066650?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 low starting bid of £35 and only £10 postage. I reckon this will go for a song. These are really nicely made, all black hardware, great necks (22 fret), also much lighter in weight than the 1 series. Sound is a little weak out of the box but a really good starting point for pimping. I stuck a SD 1/4lb'er and a P retro in mine and it was a monster - currently with The Bass Doc having a Musicman humbucker fitted!
Bassassin
Remember that names like Avon, Columbus etc were importer's names stuck on the heads of generic no-brand instruments, which is all this one is. Electra was a US importer brand who sourced from Matsumoku, Fujigen and Kasuga. This little LP bass really isn't anything special - cheap ply body, junk hardware and single-coil pups in humbucker cases. J.

mikhay77
Solid mahogany body,Dimarzio pick up and hard case, bargain. Annoying Twit
Surely this is too much for what it is. allighatt0r
I bought the Hondo bass from the same guy that Jon has bought the Eros J from, so he might send them both at the same time. Coinciding NBDs!
