Bassassin Posted October 26, 2015 Author Posted October 26, 2015
Your Antoria cost less than 10% of what this Ibanez Blazer is selling for. http://www.ebay.co.u...jYAAOSwT5tWLjE6
Incredible. That takes first prize for most optimistically-priced bass, from now until probably the end of all eternity. However if I'm wrong, it should provide me with the motivation to sort out my 1980 Mk1 Blazer, which has been sitting around in bits for, oh maybe about 7 years. Should be able to pay off the mortgage with that one... Yondergo - delighted to hear you got the Antoria, looking forward to seeing some pics. Wouldn't be surprised if you got most of your money back flogging that Badass - the original models are pretty scarce these days. J. Quote

Looking at the uneven colouring of the fretlines, notably above the 12th fret, I'd say a defret but the fretboard doesn't look like it's suffered in the process. Quote

yondergo Posted November 11, 2015 Posted November 11, 2015 Bad news on that Antoria I bought, the neck was pretty badly warped on proper inspection, and the truss rod went after I took the adjusting nut off, just spins inside the neck now. real shame. Quote

randythoades Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 Aria CSB 300 here. Very optimistic pricing I think. I would normally expect these to go for £150-180. This was the base model, good but not perfect condition. I love these basses but even so, not really an investment at this price. randythoades Posted November 19, 2015 Posted November 19, 2015 Thanks for that Jon. I am glad I didn't see it actually. My wife starting to have a problem with too many guitars in the house now...! I have given up my music room as a new playroom for the children so they are all in the shared office. She was astounded how many I had managed to squirrel away in such a small space and for some reason wasn't overly impressed. I don't take the same opinion on her collections of shoes or wrapping paper... Quote
