Whoops! Now you point it out, I was looking at that site the other week. Interesting UK made metal guitars.

How much are these worth? I have no idea if these prices are cheap, middling, expensive, or "That German Guy".
I'd say that's a good price - plus the BBR (that's the uber-80s black/red binding range) models are pretty scarce.

I've had a bit of GAS for an 80s Force series bass for a while, but there are a couple of specific models I'm interested in (plus I can't buy no more basses at the moment!) so I won't be going for this one. Why not offer him £150? :)

Too many instruments for sale, too little budget allocated :)

It's interesting, but I think I'll wait for something even more interesting for "next time", whenever that might be.

£550 for a SB700. Surely that price would be not be exactly cheap for a SB1000? Does look nice though.
Well, having just taken the bridge off my SB-900 & jabbed a ruler into the recess. The ruler says 5mm, i.e. just shy of 1/4", so I'm forced to conclude that I must have made it up M'lud.

I've probably taken my SB-1000 as a reference when I was butchering that about. IIRC at some point in the proceedings a belt-sander got applied to the top & as a result the bridge rout ended up a lot shallower.

Pete.
Cheers Pete. I'm just sweating some of the details on the old Arias. :)

I only recently noticed that the bridges came in 3 different string spacings rather than the 2 I thought hey did.

A les paul mid conversion to a bass apparently :)
It's a no-name MIJ EB-0 inspired shortscale from the early 70s or possibly even the late 60s. it's not modified or converted from anything - apart from being quite beat-up, this is how it came from the shop! These come up fairly often, in fact at least one's been sold on BC in the last couple of years.

These are actually pretty nicely-made basses with quite a unique style - they're far from being straight copies. I quite like these.

No problems - I'm not particularly serious about it & my max for something like this would be about £25 anyway, considering the condition & the £20 postage.

If you want it I'll happily sit it out & wait for one to turn up at the car boot!

Satellite through-neck P shaped thing. Korean, from about 1980 and (surprisingly enough) nothing to do with Ibanez.

I've got one that's a long-term project (which remains long-term because it has a chewed/seized truss rod nut which I can't budge) and they're pretty decent quality. Very heavy, though.

Westone body. Not sure if it's likely to be useful for anyone.

I've just started watching that, as it happens. If it goes for next to nothing I might have a tickle at it for spares as I eventually found the decent Thunder 1 A bass I was looking for. Or, more precisely, it found me. And I had just bought the Thunder Jet that came up on eBay, too - my Japcup runneth over this week!

The Scavenger has a day to go with no bids - could be a bargain.

Unusual to see a 3x single coil bass.

I had this model - my first bass, bought in 1980 for £115. PX'd it for an Aria SB.

These are really heavy and that's (IMHO) definitely not the original bridge (or if it is, it's a very different design from the one I had).

It has a through neck and my one had 'pickups designed by DiMarzio' on a factory sticker.

This one appears to have a bad day out with an orbital sander but it would probably clean up very nicely I would imagine.
