This is extraordinary, particularly considering the brand name is "Impact":
This is an unusual bass guitar made by Jedson, which I believe was a sub-division of Teisco with a limited run of Japanese made guitars for the English market in the 60s.
Do schools these days teach the idea that if you don't know about something, just fabricate something random, because it'll make you look/feel clever & who gives a sh!t about facts, anyway? I suppose at least he doesn't say "I have read..." or "I was reliably informed...". Anyway these basses (and the ubiquitous guitar versions) were made by Guyatone in the early 70s, nothing to do with Teisco. Or Jedson, which was a brand owned by J. E.Dallas & Sons, prior to the formation of Dallas-Arbiter, who subsequently used the Arbter brand name. As any fule kno. J. Mr. Foxen
Has a bit of torzal twist going on maybe. I think the optical effect of the headstock shape and strings don't help, but wouldn't expect it to be very straight anyway.

Bassassin
Six-bolt neck is quite unusual on an EB copy, don't think it's an Avon because of this. It's claimed that Moridaira used these early on but I have no idea if that's the case, tbh. I hope the price is a typo - surely he must have meant £75? Or maybe it's because it's part of the "Law Suite"? J.

Mr. Foxen
I think bassassin should start including hidden messages in his information, like the first letter of a series of words spells out something funny.
Happy Jack
He already does - do try to keep up. His last description of a 1953 Matsumoku Flying V law suit copy included the message "Paul is dead". But only if you read it backwards. On acid. Yeh man, like ... heavy.
