Annoying Twit
Antoria badged Gibby copy. I'm not sure exactly which are the EB0 or EB3 copies, but it's in the SG style bass ballpark. Bolt on neck. Not too high a starting bid, surely it will sell. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/IBANEZ-Antoria-EB-SG...=item1c1828c049 In total, there seems to be quite a lot of metal on this bass. Edit: I shouldn't be so lazy. Looking at: http://www.vintageguitars.org.uk/gib62p16.php, with the double pickup and four knobs, this is an EB3 copy, though I presume the original is set-neck. The slightly odd looking bridge is modelled after the Gibson original, and the Antoria looks a quite close copy, apart from the neck. I hadn't heard of the EB6 before! That'd be a beast! The Ibanez equivalents are on sale for quite a lot: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VINTAGE-IBANEZ-EB-23...=item41557f2b89 Edited December 27, 2010 by Annoying Twit

And he's selling a couple of BaCH basses without warranty - one's the same price as you can get new from BaCH, the other's more expensive. Bassassin
I'll be interested to see what the Antoria sells for - this is actually the 3rd one of these to come up in the last month or so - the previous two didn't do particularly well, I assume mostly because the sellers were too lazy to either accurately describe the basses or to post them. I strongly suspect this is one of those two, being flipped. The Ibanez is very expensive - I can't see that getting even £300 in a straight auction. Jon. Annoying Twit
Would the Antoria bass be Fujigen made? This is from the US, and I usually don't post foreign sourced listings, but I thought a MIJ (claimed) Hondo Longhorn bass interesting. Not sure I've seen one of those before. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Hondo-Vintage-81-Lon...=item45f7b9f0c6
Bassassin
All the 70s MIJ Antorias were Fujigen - for the most part identical to their Ibanez counterparts, right down to the catalogue numbers. Certainly never seen a Hondo Longhorn in real life, but it's in this catalogue: http://www.bossarea.com/aria/hondo/page6.jpg Spec here: http://www.bossarea.com/aria/hondo/page5.jpg Could well be MIJ as a few of the better quality Hondos were at this point - that said MIK quality was decent by the early 80s, so there's no way to tell from those pics. I was quite tempted myself - I have the guitar version of this and it would be sort of cool to have the pair. If the guitar's anything to go on, these are pretty decent - proper humbuckers, veneered timber bodies, nice binding & inlays etc. Certainly a long way ahead of many of the EB-0 copies you see. J.
