It isn't :) Gutted I missed this - would have been the perfect addition to my little collection!
Must have only been up for a few hours.

ahh shame man. that auction was only up for a couple of hours then! silly seller with a buy it now or best offer, that could easily have gone for £350-400

I'm sure I've seen one of these (or something very similar) a year or so back that surfaced in Lithuania or thereabouts. It looks absolutely shocking, but if it stays sub-£20 inc. delivery, could prove tempting.

It is JapCrap - one of these Guyatone-made early 70s starter jobs that were sometimes badged Jedson in the UK. Here's a guitar version:

Nothing to do with Teisco.

Stupidity. That, and a Billy Sheehan fixation.

It was a piece of cheap Japanese tat that he thought he could improve with new pickups. Whether it was an improvement or not is a moot point. See also my opinions on modifying 70s Fenders.

Slightly off-topic, but did anyone here bag the Thunder II that was on Gumtree today? Not a scratch on it, double precision version with an XLR out!

Guess how much...........

While weeping over the last one, I saw this rather lovely (albeit a snidge on the pricey side) Thunder IA.
Beautiful condition but not the original knobs, but someone may well correct me on that. :)

Les Paul copy, I think this is probably Japanese but not sure what it is. It doesn't look like an Antoria copy. Shame about that bridge.
