I suppose the cheapest option is aim a camcorder at yourself and use it for both audio and video BUT I would expect the audio to be poor. Next step would be to record the audio separate using a USB audio adaptor and then add the recording onto the video you have recorded using your camcorder. Most video editing suites will allow you to add multiple audio layers, so you can add a layer for your bass and a layer for the original song (+ video layer of you playing). I use final cut express, but if you are using a PC, not sure what is available. Pinnacle studio maybe? [A good tip to syncing up audio/video is to use something that makes a noise at the start of the video (those wooden clapper boards they use in movies) and then sync the peak of the audio with the video of the noise being made.] Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
