Anyone Pimped a Aphex Punch Factory?

I love my Aphex Compressor pedal but, as has been reported a number of times by various users, the plastic input jacks are becoming a problem and its starting to buzz and play up a bit.

Has anyone managed to remedy this, either by having someone open one up and pimping it to 'gigging 3-4 times' standard, or any other way of making the jacks less fragile?

I thought about building mine into another box, with real jacks fixed to the case.....but life's too short....so I sold it. Shame 'cause it is a great pedal but really isn't up to gigging - even the gentle polite stuff.

Yeah, mine doesn't get trodden on kicked about, its on top of my amp and always on!
Its simply the amount of times i plug it in and out.

Surely it can't be a mean feat to replace them?

Or do a whole new enclosure for it.
