simondee
Hi guys, My Warwick Quad IV is tripping out constantly as a result of the thermal switch. Thing is, the fan's working and it's not getting hot. A cursory glance from the tech at the studio couldn't find anything at fault with the amp itself, so my question is have any other Warwick amp owners had this issue, and is it an expensive fix? I'd rather get something more reliable than have to play gigs worrying about it dying on me. Any advice appreciated. Kiwi
I did, but the reason was that the amp was shipped from the factory without a thermostat fitted. Ended up with the fan just hard wired to be on all the time. You might need the thermostat replaced?
simondee
OK I might give that a go. Is it a pricy endeavour to get a new thermostat?
