Muzz
OK, I'm looking for a set of removable castors (or even casters) for a cab, and for once t'internet's not exactly forthcoming with suppliers. Anyone have any experience buying/fitting said items? Ta, Muzz
basshead56
Try t´local ´Aardware Store. My local has more wheels than a Kwik-Fit garage soaked in Rat pee. Just make sure the cab has fiitings for them as drilling it may cause problems. Or, try a flightcase instead.
chris_b
Blue Aran, B&Q etc, or lots of local hardware shops. If you want removable then I think a folding trolley is better. If you have a big cab then get the bolt on wheels and make sure 2 of them have brakes. Edited February 2, 2010 by chris_b
Muzz
Blue Aran, B&Q etc, or lots of local hardware shops.
Except that B&Q don't do removable castors, and the only ones Blue Aran do a removable plate for are 4" dia, 600Kg load and £20 each. But you knew that before replying, right?

Muzz
Sorry for the snippiness Chris, but the question was "Anyone have any experience buying/fitting said items?" I know hardware stores do castors, too - I was asking if... oh, never mind.
