Pbassman
I have been reading the Badass II forum post (very informative) and while it is generally accepted that the Badass bridges are the most suitable, what others are OK for use on 70s US Precisions, and what other recommendations does anyone have? Thanks for opinions. Phil.

Cat Burrito
I hope to keep mine all original for as long as possible but if I had to change it I'd go for the Fender vintage bridge http://shop.absolute-guitars.co.uk/fender-...rome-1032-p.asp
Jean-Luc Pickguard
An original bent tin one, but a badass on a jazz
wateroftyne
Bent tin, or the slightly pimped-up new Fender one.
mrcrow
if you need to change and not for looks but for mass and you dont want a badass i can only comment on the schaller range as better engineered and finished...roller saddle models
Clarky
Here's some photos of my new/old Jazz with a Schaller roller bridge http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=74694 I think it looks a bit too heavy duty on a Jazz but thats just my opinion. There is no doubt its very well engineered and heavy duty. I would vote one of bent tin, new Fender high mass, or perhaps Gotoh 201 (looks more vintage than a BA). mep
I bought ones of these of a gazgaskell, a great ebay shop some years ago for my precision. The original was rusted and needed replacing. This is a budget option, but better than the original. It was a direct replacement. I have a Badass 2 on my Geddy Lee and I have the 201 on another Jazz and also on a Precision. ( + The Gotoh is also cheaper, which is very important to us Yorkshiremen ) Will.
