Doubt about a Trace Elliot stack.Can you help me?

Hi english mates!

I want to purchase a Trace Elliot stack and i would like to know if it´s Gibson or Pre-Gibson.

I have the serial numbers.

HEAD:AH300 SMC GP7 With 7 band EQ S/N: T0422/141/198

CABINET 1:Model 1153T 2x10" with twitter S/N: T0250/04989

CABINET 2:Model 2103H 1x15" S/N: T0255-03647-292

The owner purchased it in 2004 but he doesn´t know if it´s pre-Gibson because the amp was in the shop for years.

I think the SMC range was Gibson era and I'm pretty sure the 1153T is too. My one didn;t have the T at the end

Is it green carpet or black vinyl covered?

None of it gibson, the smc you have is just pre-gibson (tho it was a model during the gibson years too) and the two cabs are older than that

Pre-Gibson, but still naff build quality.
Flying Pig used to turn them out cheap.

The quality went to pot right after Series 6.

Basic rule: if it is carpeted, it is downgraded.
Be ready for repairs/death.

If you want some of the good/best Trace, let me know...

bollocks. I've only ever owned carpeted trace except for the v type combo and it was/is bombproof.

Rubbish
