DanEly
I got my hands on a '76 Grabber the other day, she's a beaut! I just need to try and source a truss rod cover. 4
DaytonaRik
Just returned to the Thunderbird fold after a few years away...how I've missed that growl and super-narrow nut width!

Is it just me though, or does that nut look really narrow compared to your SG to the left? I don't recognize that one btw, the mix of a gloss finish, dot inlays and chrome covered pickups has me wondering. Is it a modded Special, or maybe an Xtra Slim? 12stringbassist
The SG on the left has had the chrome pickup covers when my mate had it. I'll try to find a bit more out about it from him. The SGII had a brass nut fitted, at my request, when it had its refinish.
DaytonaRik
Oooh - hadn't realised we were including guitars in this - my 2007 SG Standard - pretty much mint.

The Xtra Slim had the smaller pick guard so I'd go for a modded Special

gsgbass
It's not a Gibson Bass, but it's a Gibson 2018 SG Faded Worn Bourbon Guitar. Edited February 11, 2018 by gsgbass

12stringbassist
The back is unusual, too. Inlaid logo - one of their limited runs.

Now that really isn’t fair, it was gorgeous from the front but that rear shot takes it to a new level. I am on the lookout for one now but guessing they don’t come cheap.

12stringbassist
I have the guitar version of that - a 1972 SGII that I bought brand new. It looked like this until the body got damaged and I had it refinished.

Bassmonkey
As a Gibson fan myself, I keep gassing for a Victory Artist. Never played one but they look ace. Recommended?
ProfJames
Very much so. More versatile than the standard model but am still impressed with each of their capabilities and tones. I need to improve to make the most of them! Next is either a Victory Custom and/or an Ovation Magnum
