Hello from Bolton

Hi all

I'm a newbie that isn't playing bass, and hasn't done for 6 months due to a new born being er born. Wishing I could find time to start up again but I just cannot get near my poor dust covered bass. So the next best thing to playing bass is talking about bass, so here I am.

The weekend is nearly here and I think I will get the bass out, give it a clean, look at it longingly with puppy dog eyes and put it back in its case, safe and sound, while a tend to the next poop nappy. Is it wrong that I feel a sense of achievement when I change a nappy, has my life really degraded that much?

im a newish dad ( she,s one now) and im a geordie relocated to bolton 4 years ago, so we are similar as i used to be a pro player who gave up the "life" as it were,still playing a bit on the local Am dram circuit, give me a PM if you want a chat about anything( fatherhood,bass, stuck for strings,owt you want)

Yeah, it's not far from Boothstown, the other side of Worsley, before you head into Salford or Eccles!
