I'd be interested in the sight reading and r&b bass masters books...any info? would you recommend them for a medium-advanced player?

The sight reading would be suitable for anyone although some of the examples might be tricky for a complete beginner to play but it's a good book which integrates the notation with your bass so you learn in a natural way.

The r&b book is part history lesson and part tab examples some of which can be quite advanced due to the players studied IE bootsy collins
