The other day I tried out a Sandberg Ken Taylor 5 string in City Music, Birmingham. Through a Mark Bass combo. I have never even thought of trying one before. Dont like the idea of them, dont like the look of them. But what happened next was ridiculous. It ripped my face off!
It was as loud as anything. Clear as hell and articulate. Im not sure what model it was. It had one speaker. Maybe a 12? I asked to try the Sandberg out with another amp to see how much of it was the guitar/amp. It was definately the amp. So sorry for dissing you Mark Bass users in the past.It wont happen again. Fair play to the guys in City Music too. Top blokes indeed!!!!

I've got a little Markbass CMD112 combo - very small and light but a a very big and loud sound. It's my go to rehearsal amp and have used it at gigs on occassion and it more than holds it's own. Also use their TA501 and F500 heads for my main gigging set up coupled with a couple of Bergantino 112's - very clean, loud and bags of character from the TA501.
