OldGit
Lodestone have a new bass. The "Primal Instinct" Doesn't seem to have made it to their website yet, however £900 gets you this "modern take on an old favourite" What is it with their designer. If you can't see that the scratch plate shape absolutely destroys the elegance of this bass you need to go back to graphic design school. The headstock has already been discussed (and thoroughly dissed) on here but it's not been improved .... IMHO, of course.
RussFM
The headstock alone would stop me from buying one.
Mr. Foxen
Coulda done a neater job of winding the strings on too.
Huw Foster
Eh, I reckon the headstock looks better in context with the whole instrument. Probably not the most flattering angle, but I suppose they want to show off how unique it is. Anyway, generally speaking I think this looks alright! Can't go wrong with aged white and tortoiseshell. Buzz
I quite like that. Don't forget the body top has contours though on Lodestones, I suspect that limits the scratchplate shape, but those pictures don't really show up those contours. It has contours, so why fit a plate at all?
