Spare End pin

Just found this in my loft - is it called the endpin (or spike) maybe?
Came from a bass I used to briefly own, just wondered if its of any use/value to anyone on here?
Any advice gratefully received.

Yup. That's an end-pin.

Doesn't look like it has tangs, so it may be of some value to someone who has to saw theirs off in order to change it.

I have a spare one too!

It might be useful to know what the diameter is.

I met a bassist at a gig in Bradford with a busted endpin, wonder if he's sorted it?
I'll see if I can get in touch with him.

Would seem to be 5/8" diameter - is that correct/standard?

They're usually in mm: mine's 10mm.
