john_the_bass
Probably the standard one - but if you want a Great GRAMMA, please post - they are more expensive so I don't know what will happen with those.
JJTee
I'd like to get two of the Great Gramma, so I can put my electric drum kit and stool on there. I'm worried that the footpedal noise will go through the floor when I move into my new flat, so this could be just the ticket.
Stingray5
Just a quick question. I'm wondering how this would work regarding shipping? Whether the company will ship to individual purchasers (which would entail separate packaging of course) or possibly more likely, if they're discounting the product, send as one bulk order to a single address. Pads would obviously then need to be re-posted to individual buyers. Just wondering on the logistics etc of this. Sorry if I'm missing something here, but just wanted to check anyway... Most of my cabs are mid sized and quite deep. I think I'll have to go for a great gramma. Let me know pricing
The price I paid for mine was a shipped price and was shipped in the Gramma's box with a FedEx label slapped on it. I have asked for a discount price based on shipping to the individual buyers and I would be hoping for a saving on the price I paid. The other thing to mention is that I bought a GRAMMA for use with a TE 1x15 combo - the dimensions of the GRAMMA are slightly smaller than the TE combo (GRAMMA - 23", TE Combo - 24.2") but the feet on the TE were spaced 21" apart so fitted onto the pad almost perfectly. Doddy
Just quickly......If you have a 4x10 you would be better off with the Great Gramma. My Bergantino overhung the standard Gramma.

Will wait to see what they come back with. As it 'appens, I'm also using a TE 1x15 combo, along with a TE 2x10. Reckon that should be ok, going on what's been said here so far regarding weight and dimensions.

I want to use my incoming TC cabs horizontal sometimes so even they are quite 'long'.

Would a couple of 2x10s stacked end-on-end with a lead sled head on top be as stable as it would be on the floor?
They are great for all the reasons already stated. You should approach Mark at Bassdirect for a deal. I however find that somewhat unlikely! Me on the list though... :-)

I didn't mean to spoil your fine offer to arrange this. Just wanted to try to keep it "in the family" as it were and I knew Mark did a deal for BC members. Musicman20
What's the great gramma offer then? We are looking at about 10+ pads here, some people want more than 1. Surely that's quite a hefty bulk order

bottomfeed
I managed to get one from Ebay, new for £26 + £8 postage....Just happened to log on at the right time & make a bid... (the seller was cashandcarry2009 but it appears to be a one off thing) Well chuffed with it
misrule
Could we have a price for Great Grammas, Mark-Poptart? I might be tempted. I've already got the smaller one. Oh, and can we have a group buy for NV610s? I feel a visit to Warwick coming on ... Cheers Mark
dave_bass5
Count me in as well. Ive been using their Platfoam for a while now and even that makes a difference. Ive been planning on getting the pd for a while but never go around to it. Hows the postage going to work? I'll pass on the Gramma, I'm afraid -- I've had a lower offer. This group buy thing is getting complicated But I'll definitely be in touch about the NV610 when the time is right.
