basshead56
As per the title, anyone got any experience with this cab config? The VBA400 goes down to 2 ohms and the VBC412´s are 4ohm a piece. Will this RAWWK the sh*te out of anywhere I play or will it just be more clear sounding? What would be the best way of lining them up-stack or side by side? Dont fancy trying to get the VBA on top of the cabs in stack mode-as I´m not terribly tall or immensly strong and I dont have a fork lift! Any thoughts? Raggy
My dream rig. It would be rude to turn the offer down. Stack 'em
The Funk
If you stack them make sure you have insurance to cover any potential personal injury claims against you! Cross-fire them and see how that sounds/looks.
Conan
Stack them and buy a pair of platform soled boots!!

alanbass1
I usd to play a two 4x12 set up int the late 70's, coupled with a fender bassman 135 head. It was loud enough to hold it's own in a two guitar loud sleazy rock and roll band - just the single 4x12 never cut it. Finbar
When I had the VBA400 and 1 VBC412, it was way too loud for any venue I ever played. 2 of them would be monstrous, and I'm not sure in a good way. Transporting them would not be fun either. And given the weight of the VBA400, I don't think you'll have much option but to put them side by side
Delberthot
That's what my plan is. Once I get my Trace 4x12" I'll be on the look out for another
Mr. Foxen
Stacked in theory is better, if the guitards can do it, you can do it. Mostly, help them set up their stacks, then make them help with yours.
WonderHorse
I can't tell you how two VBCs work with a VBA head but I've got one VBC412 and it's the mutt's. It's paired with a TE GP7SM 130 head so it'll be nowhere near it's full potential but it still seriously moves some air. Unfortunately I'm considering selling it as it's just too big really. Finbar
I really miss my VBC412. I wish I still had it. But it's not practical for me anymore
longtimefred
my lord that would seriously move some air. I got to play though a VBA of a mate's of mine through 1 of the 412's and that was more than enough and sounded incredible. I used to run my old VBA through a Trace 8x10 and that was just stupidly loud. SOUNDS LIKE FUN!!!! do it.

Huw Foster
I agree with all the above about this rig. Sounds like the ultimate, dream cab configuration to me. Don't you dare turn it down! Higgie
Put one cab on each side of the stage
