Lakland 44-01 - new owner!

Hi all,

After owning a Marcus Miller for years and years, I (rather acrimoniously as some of you know) managed to move it on and I have bought myself instead a Lakland 44-01 - am VERY impressed with it already even though I am still finding my feet with it.

Was just wondering if there were any other owners out there who could offer any tips/tricks? With a bit of research, I found that unfortunately it may have been in the shop for a little over a year or so, as the E and G strings are a bit too high for my tastes which might also be due to the trussrod - a shame really as I have heard how good the Skylines are set up from the shop!
