Hi guys,

I'm selling my stingray.

Here are the details:
- 3EQ models
- Late 90s model
- very good condition
- 4 strings
- maple neck
- Had a recent pro set-up.

I bought this bass new in 1998 in Chicago. I gigged with it for a while, but I used it as a backup after I got my Yamaha BB1600. I've used it very little after that apart from the occasional session.

I hand picked this bass out of 10 rays that where available in the shop, as not only was it gorgeous with the natural finish, it was also the best sounding one!

Natural finish rays are more expensive new as the wood used for the body is supposed to be better I've been told.

In term of sounds, I've used this bass on this CD

"Nature take me in her arms" and "Homeless in hollywood" have got a bass friendly mix.

Cash on collection in Bristol.

Cheers,

Valere

Neck is standard maple. It's got a bridge with rubber mutes.

Sorry I haven't got more pictures for now - will add some early next week.

Any interest in a battered CIJ 65/66 Reissue jazz in CAR with matching headstock and rosewood "dots n bound" fingerboard and neck and custom wound shed pickups and a badass as a trade?

No, sorry... In term of trade, or trade+cash, my preference would be for:
- sadowsky
- jazz bass: US, or road worn

Still available at £700 in Bristol.

No worries. I promise you this jazz looks, is built and sounds better than anything that's come out of America since the 70s.
