Thunderitter Posted February 11, 2010 Share Posted February 11, 2010 I've been talking to luthier Kevin Robertson about a five string 'sister' for the KRG Ursa that he built me recently and he sent me some pictures of a recently completed Kamakiri 5, which I thought I'd share here. Initially I didn't dig this body style but it's really starting to grow on me. This particular bass for those that are interested has a Camphor Burl top, a Flame Port Orford Cedar back, 5A Flame Maple neck with Wenge stringers and a Madagascar Ebony 'board.
