gary mac Posted February 12, 2010 Posted February 12, 2010 (edited) [attachment=42460:097.JPG][attachment=42461:098.JPG][attachment=42462:099.JPG][attachment=42463:100. JPG][attachment=42464:101.JPG] I have decided too move this one on, as I'm just not using it. I purchased it two years back for a project that never actually got off the ground. I believe that the previous owner used it for recording purposes only. I haven't gigged it or even taken it out for a rehearsal. It is in absolutely perfect unblemished condition, no buckle rash or dings anywhere and resides in a luxury hardcase, which is also in first class condition. The body is alder finished with a maple veneer. Maple neck and rosewood fingerboard. No wear or damage to frets. Humbucker and Piezo pick ups. Three band active eq. Low battery indicator. Easily accessed flip up battery cover. Expecting a bit of a one trick pony with this bass, I was pleasantly surprised and very pleased at the variety of sounds available. With the eq and pick up combination it's very versatile. Given the condition of this instrument and the excellent case, I am asking £320.00. NEW PRICE £275 I'm happy for anyone interested to come around for a coffee and test drive. Would prefer collection, but willing to post at purchasers expense. Pm me for any further info.[attachment=42459:108.JPG] Edited June 19, 2010 by gary mac
warwickhunt Posted February 12, 2010 Posted February 12, 2010 I recently acquired a one of these (even the same colour) and I have to agree that it is a lot more versatile than it would initially appear, a very under-rated bass.
gary mac Posted February 13, 2010 Author Posted February 13, 2010 Agreed, a lot of yamaha instruments are very good, but often under rated. Discontinued now and set to become collectible I'm told.
gary mac Posted February 16, 2010 Author Posted February 16, 2010 Quite a lot of views, but no offers. If you think I have priced it incorrectly, make me an offer, you never know I might say yes.
gary mac Posted March 21, 2010 Author Posted March 21, 2010 Apologies to the BC'er who pm'd me. I managed to delete it instead of replying. Thanks all the same, but no inclination for a five stringer. All the best, Gary
