Sorry can't read your links as they are blocked but L.A's Ozomatli are a great Latino funk band. Also look up Sargeant Garcia, Joao Bosco (some of his stuff will appeal), Caetano Veloso (A Luz A Tieta).....

fantastic Latin Funk band i saw live supporting Incognito...they are fairly well known on here i believe...Groove Collective from New York...The bassist John Maron is a seriously good bassist too..

Check out my friends from Venezuela: Bacalao Men and Los amigos invisibles

Also if you interested in old school latin funk, there is many bands like Ray Barreto and also Mongo Santamaria. I have a vast collection of this kind of music, if you like these last two let me know and can send you many more...

You should DEFO check out Santa Fe and the Fat City Horns. They're primarily a club band in vegas and aren't strictly a 'latin' band but there's definitely a latin tinge to everything they play.

In the 70s the latin music GOD that is Eddie Palmieri formed a band, Harlem River Drive, that was extremely funky. But this is my favourite of his 70s funk tracks: Lakumi Makumba Voodoo
