I wondered if there might be another way of adjusting the truss rod (unlikely, but worth a quick question I thought), this was the response I recieved: Are you being serious here???? of course you can't adjust it anymore, unless you remove the filler...the neck is straight so why would you want to adjust it? to make it curved? - theclash1968

Bassassin
Retard. And that's your air he's breathing, kids. J.
Ou7shined
I've bought water-slide decals off him before. Found him to be a good bloke, even put him in my favourite sellers list. It seems like an odd answer considering he's sold so many guitars and parts and you'd therefore think he'd know what he's talking about. skankdelvar
I recently saw a similar axe on the bay, truss rod hole filled in etc. Q'd the guy. "Oh," says he, "I've been setting up guitars for years and you never need to adjust truss rods, except for major bows. Anything needs adjusting, I simply shim the neck and tweak the action." WTF? Alfie
Funny thing is, they have gone to all that effort to replicate a 60s neck (making it unplayable in the process), when 60s necks with rosewood didn't have that brown blob, so it looks just as fake. Bassassin
It doesn't even look remotely like a wooden plug - it looks exactly like he's poked a big blob of brown goop in the hole. And the whole effect's set off by the bargain-bin tin Chinese tuners, all at different angles. Classy. J.
Mr. Foxen
I asked him a similar question, got a slightly more sensible answer. Turns out he is not retarded, it was just beer. Although he seems to suppose I am Alfie (sorta fair):
Oli, apologies if my answer was a bit off the cuf yesterday, I was super drunk when replying...anyway, the neck is un-adjustable now, unless you remove the walnut filler with a stanley knife or dremmel tool, it's more a peacock neck than anything else to be fair...It would look great as a spare or back up bass to have on stage, the neck was straight and played well before i removed it, i've no reason to doubt it would be the same when re-installed...once again apologies for my pissed up answer yesterday.
Fairly sure by 'walnut filler' he means walnut coloured filler. Alfie
In his defence, he also emailed me in the morning to apologise. Who hasn't done something they regret after a couple of jars?

lapolpora
Maybe he was drunk when he thought up the filler job as well.
