I played the opening night and had a residency there for about the first year. Bob Monkhouse was the headliner on the opening night. What a pro that guy was.

how are all what,30?( ) of you gonna fit in Alexanders? I seem to remember, if Ive got the right place, a 4 peice blues turn I was in, found it a bit cramped!!

(note: I am most definately being sarcastic, i've managed to avoid that place so far so can't speak from personal experience but one highlight is apparently the sticky floors... yum)
