fretmeister Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 What are the differences between the Sadowsky preamp and the standard one? Don't think I've ever heard a Sadowsky preamp.

I have never heard the bass with the original preamp. The Sadowsky is a $250 addition. I was recently advised that the original preamp from a Fender Jazz USA is £6, direct from Fender, so make of that what you will. fretmeister Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 You might want to put the preamp price in the first post. £750 for a bass that can be bought new for £799 sounds unlike a bargain... but when you add the D-Tuner (about £70 IIRC) and the Preamp too then it looks much more appetising.
lscolman Posted April 7, 2010 Author Posted April 7, 2010 Hi Fretmeister, Some fine advice... all done! Cheers, Lee
