A typical couple of weeks

From my own personal perspective, the last two weeks have seen

[list]Many hundreds of pounds donated for a good cause
Tremendous support and sympathy from the whole community
A BCer I've only ever met once source (and temporarily fund) a vintage part for me
A BCer I've never met set up a really neat deal for me to get some discounts
A BCer try to get my bands some gigs - and succeed
Several BCers invite me to their gigs and promise to come to mine
A number of BCers post comments that left me laughing fit to bust at a time when I needed a good laugh

As well as being a great place - support, help, advice and humour - there's also some great music being created by members.
I have over the last few days been listening to some of Sibob's, mythste, craigmartini and silddx's latest offerings just to name a few. Great stuff, as has been material from a lot of other members.


I've actually downloaded (perfectly legal) sibob's and mythste's onto my iPod so I can look uber cool when people ask what is that you're listening to. As a boring old fart, I've got to at least try to keep up.


So a big round of applause to Basschating people who are making beautiful music.
