erisu Posted February 14, 2010 Posted February 14, 2010 (edited) Hey guys I need to make truss rod adjustments on my bass but the truss rod head is not allen wrenches compatible. It looks like it's a bolt nut and I need to buy some sort of hexagon adjustment tool to fit around the nut to turn it. I can't put anything in the hole as it's a circular hole but it seems like I can screw something into it? Took a picture of the truss rod nut for you guys to take a look at so any help would be great Cheers! Edited February 14, 2010 by erisu Quote
hillbilly deluxe Posted February 14, 2010 Posted February 14, 2010 (edited) You need a box spanner. The threads that you see inside are what screws onto the truss rod. What make of bass is it ? Edited February 14, 2010 by hillbilly deluxe Quote

I was wondering what the name was for this tool as I've seen around some hardware stores before I guess i'll be getting one of these off good ole ebay! hillbilly deluxe: The bass I have is a Killer KB-SIMMONY from Japan (http://www.killer.jp/killer/bass/kb_simmony_sw.html) Quote
