Delberthot Posted February 14, 2010 Share Posted February 14, 2010 (edited) I picked up a black Epiphone Les Paul bass last week and from playing it in the house through my wee Hartke A100, I absolutely love it. Trouble is that its my Rickenbacker 4003s and Fender single coil precisions all over again. Much as I love these basses, I have trouble with the slab body and end up with a lot of wrist pain after using then for a gig. After finishing a gig with my Blue Boy Rickenbacker, I felt like I had arthritis in my right hand. I'm a big chap and this is the main reason I can't use them for long periods, my stomach pushes the bass out a bit - the answer would be to lose the beef and that's what I'm in the process of doing but I was wondering if there are/were any Les Paul basses made with contoured bodies?
