NJW Posted November 1, 2007 Posted November 1, 2007 snap. I would buy this straight away if it were a 4 string. Beautiful bass.... just beautiful.
silverfoxnik Posted November 2, 2007 Posted November 2, 2007 That's a lovely looking bass and with the quality of the hardware (especially the Delano p/ups), a gig bag and a hard case as well, it's an absolute bargain at under £700! Recent 5 string acquisitions unfortunately mean I have to admire from a distance this time but, good luck with the sale..
Hamster Posted November 2, 2007 Posted November 2, 2007 I'm sure I'm related to Unlucky Alf from the Fast Show - cracking bass - no money - Bugger! Hamster
99ster Posted November 2, 2007 Posted November 2, 2007 Yep - Sandbergs are really VERY good basses... I picked up a 4 string Jazz recently - cracking bass. Very temped by this - but I'm just not loving the pickguard - bit too 'spangly' for me. Is that the original one that came with the bass??
minty fresh death Posted November 2, 2007 Posted November 2, 2007 I've got a California JM4 and I can't see myself ever parting with it, excellent price.
Veils Posted November 2, 2007 Posted November 2, 2007 No bass has ever been the same since I got rid of my Sandberg - worst thing I ever did.
lowfer Posted November 2, 2007 Author Posted November 2, 2007 yes original pick guard. I think they can be easily changed with a fender o ne from the research i have done but not sure. selling to take up my first love sax. Would be willing to trade for a good tenor sax that it is not note
